What is Xanadu Retreat?

Xanadu Retreat is our flagship property, located in the hills above Kuta Lombok. It offers an intimate, upscale barefoot-chic retreat experience, combining surfing with wellness, recovery, movement and surf education. Our main Surf, Yoga & Wellness Retreat (Level 1-3) and Advanced Surf Progression Weeks (level 4) combines daily surf coaching with yoga, surf mobility, surf theory, video analysis, workshops and recovery facilities. We also host selected Yoga Immersion Weeks every other week. Xanadu Retreat programs run Saturday to Saturday.

What programs are available at Xanadu Retreat?

We offer several different programs at Xanadu Retreat: Surf, Yoga & Wellness Retreat (Level 1-3) Our signature retreat experience for Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 surfers, combining structured surf coaching with yoga, mobility, workshops, video analysis and recovery. Advanced Surf Progression Week (Level 4) Our dedicated program for Level 4 surfers, with coaching and workshops designed specifically for experienced, independent surfers looking to progress their technique. Yoga Immersion Week Selected weeks dedicated to a deeper yoga experience, combining daily practice with meditation, pranayama, philosophy and restorative sessions.

What wellness and recovery facilities are available?

Guests at Xanadu Retreat have complimentary access to our ice bath and infrared sauna throughout their stay. The retreat program also incorporates yoga and surf mobility sessions to support recovery and movement throughout a full week of surfing. Additional wellness treatments, including massages, can be booked separately at our spa.

What room types are available at Xanadu Retreat?

Xanadu Retreat offers three main room categories: Superior Twin Our twin-share option for guests who are happy to share a room with another guest. We pair the guests by gender. Superior King A private room with a king-size bed, suitable for solo travellers wanting their own room or couples travelling together. Deluxe Extra King Our most premium room category, with an extra king-size bed, bathtub and additional perks. All rooms include air conditioning, a fan, bath, pool and beach towels, sustainable toiletries, a safety deposit box, water refill, desk, minibar, blackout curtains and a veranda with a sitting area

Where is Xanadu Retreat located?

Xanadu Retreat is located in the hills above Kuta Lombok, offering a peaceful setting away from the busier centre of town while still being conveniently close to Kuta. The location is designed to provide a more tranquil retreat experience, with dedicated spaces for yoga, wellness and relaxation. Complimentary hourly shuttle to town is provided. The drive to town takes around 7 minutes.
